Primary Duties: The responsibilities of a Registered Nurse are as follows:
Provide patient care that is directed by the attending physician.

• Administer medications under the direction of the nurse practitioner.
• Ensure that all medication and chemical substances are labeled according to the physician order.
• Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and sanitized upon completion of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in nurse practitioner meetings, committees and training sessions to ensure that the nursing care provided is in keeping with the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all federal, state, local, department of health regulations and maintain licensure or certification as a registered nurse.
• Higher pay for home evaluations and home visits.

Qualifications:
The qualifications for a Registered Nurse are as follows: (1) the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, simple word processing and business documents; (2) the ability to think critically and communicate effectively with diverse groups; (3) the ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive matters; (4) the ability to work independently as well as coordinated; (5) the ability to address diverse situations; (6) the ability to address complex problems with great depth and remain organized; (7) the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action; (8) the ability to teach, train, develop and motivate staff; (9) the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, referral sources and other staff; (10) the ability to use technology in a productive manner; (11) the ability to stand, walk or sit for an entire shift; (12) the need for current CPR certification.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
